The small regional capital of the South that “has it all” is the main destination for 12 months sun & beach tourism and gate city for international visitors from Corfu and Greece combining busy cosmopolitan tourism resort atmosphere with green coast and white beaches and Albania’s top cultural heritage site of Butrint.

Interconnected with Gjirokaster and Greece it forms an integrated city region with rural inland zones of Finiqi, Delvina and Konispol.

Urban Regeneration of the Sunset Strip and Creation of the New Bus Terminal
Creation of a new recreational pole at the fishing port and on the Peninsula of the Navy Hill
Valorization of the hills in Saranda, as an area for public promenades and improved access between the coast and the hills
Creation of a bicycle / pedestrian route to connect Saranda with Ksamil and organizing Ksamili coastline
